Now is not the time to give up. The challenges in Ukraine are severe and American political debates on continued US government support continue — a very clear illustration of our own challenges.
However, what we see from our partners in Ukraine is continued determination and, just as importantly, a spirit and ability to innovate.
Take the Sunflower Project, for example. They started demining efforts through traditional ground sweeping methods and soon advanced to developing robots to do this work. Now they’re integrating drones and AI in addressing the massive problem of mined fields.
FCU will continue to support this work because we believe in it, because we fundamentally respect the men and women working to defend democracy in Ukraine, and because it’s in America’s strategic, long-term interest for Ukraine to prevail.
